Who Cheats More - Men or Women?

Years ago I would have said men in an instant. I was a single parent raising two teenage kids, working long hours and I didn’t have time for a relationship of any kind. I had lots of female friends who were married and they weren’t having affairs - surely they would have told me, right? Wrong. As it turned out, one of my closest and dearest friends was having this hot steamy affair with my own gynecologist right under my nose!! Ok, so I’m a bit gullible when it comes to people I love because I always see them at their best. If I had known she was having the affair it wouldn’t have altered our friendship one bit, but I have to tell you I would have wanted to know what kind of lover my very attractive doctor was! (that’s a different story for a different day!)

Anyway, I received an email from a member of our website asking me if I thought dating sites caused more men to cheat than women. No, I don’t think dating sites are the cause of cheating on either side. Yes, it’s easier to be anonymous, but cheaters would cheat with someone they met at the grocery store, at the softball field, in a pub - you all know it’s true. What IS different are the tire kickers but in my opinion they aren’t real cheaters because they never do anything. They only look. Their love life is flat to dead and they want to know if there are people out there that have wild and crazy sex because there isn’t any going on in their house.

Seriously, I think you’ll find that it’s about equal between the sexes. Just my opinion though! According to Ask Ugg who reported on a cheating survey recently, their conclusion was that women cheated more but I suspect it’s because more men took the survey.
