Wanna feel better?
I know times are freakin tough the world over. Rising food prices because of the rise in the price of a barrel of oil. So to all you Americans who are groaning over what you pay for a gallon of gas, you are doing pretty well. I just filled up here in New Zealand and at $2.099 per litre and then converting the litres to gallons and converting it to US Dollars on xe.com, I paid a whopping $6.09 U.S. per gallon. Compared to your $3.85 – $4.00 U.S. a gallon, I’m feeling really poor right now.
So the next time you’re feeling poorly that you are struggling to fill the tank, give a thought to those paying even more than you are. It ain’t pretty.
Let’s hope the change in government will turn things around and the dollar will be stronger and that the oil situation will ease. My fingers are crossed.

You know, as I see gas here in Florida reach 3.99/gal and up, I know that as soon as people get used to paing that, the price will inch upwards. face it, we have to work and go to school. the government knows that so they have us by the balls…
Adding my crossed fingers to yours, let’s hope that $ will get stable and prices will go down (although I do believe prices can NEVER go DOWN, as the only direction they usually take is UP. Or crash…)

I’m Happy Barack Obama Won the Democratic Nomination will soon be putting Bush his Brainwashed Flock of Repubes Out to Pasture!!
I think the Positive Message he brings will spell Great Things for the Whole World including Lower Gas Prices*
) Peace*
We Americans have been living in a fantasy world for a long time. Our gas prices have been significantly lower than they are in most of the world, I’m sure for political reasons. Now we are catching up and we are caught with our pants down. We have to eliminate a gazillion SUV’s and start driving more efficient cars. We are going to be whining and crying for a long time, regardless of who becomes our next president.
