Those pesky tampon ads
On my last visit to the states I would cringe every time I saw a tampon ad on TV. Blue skies, “you poor thing” attitudes and well, boring.
Australians are very down to earth and accept all bodily functions as normal and acceptable. If you want to sell tampons to women, then make the ad interesting and funny. Like this Australian commercial for U tampons.
The Australians are fond of the saying, “Thank God that we got the convicts and the Americans got the Puritans.” Nothing says it more than this commercial about all the things a beaver is good for.
I wonder what a small child, or an alien, would make of this?
That is too funny. We would never show that commercial in the US.

Although I agree that this is a funny commercial, I don’t think that any tampon commercials should be shown. It is just as bad as those male enhancement commercials. No one wants to see it.
The commercial was good though.
Those male enhancement commercials are funny. I wouldn’t mind a funny tampon commercial as much as those drug ads with all the side effects listed afterwards.
