How much does age matter?
Would you date someone with an age difference of more than 10 years? Personally I have always felt more comfortable with someone near my own age. We have similar memories and similar experiences in time. I remember Kennedy being assassinated. I’d feel weird with someone who said, “who?”

My friend Jack also prefers a much younger woman. He says it makes him feel younger. I think about dating a man in his late 20’s and people would wonder if I was his mother or worse, his gran. It might be terrible to admit but when I see a guy in his early 60s with a cute young thing I think to myself, “gramps.” I don’t see the attraction personally. Oh yes, I can see the physical attraction to a beautiful young woman, for sure, but after the sex is over, what else do they have in common? What’s the attraction on her part? Money? I want someone to enjoy my company and me enjoy his and for longer than a roll in the hay.
I think it tends to be creepy when you date someone close to or younger than your children. Stay away from creepy.
Perhaps I should admit that my husband is 6 years younger than me but that’s it.. that’s as low as I go!

Age matters more than people realize. I did date a man 12 years older (of course he acted younger). We had some things in common, but yet there was more not common. It just didn’t work out due to the fact we couldn’t relate to each others generation.
Age does not matter not to me anyway. Communication is the main thing in a relationship if you both can relate to each other age does not matter . I myself like older man they reat you much better and aer more laid back then those crazy restless ones always trying ro lay new chicks to prove they are Hot. Thats not for me. NIce article.. I too used to date men anywhere from 10 to 25 years older than me. I can totally understand it. (But they looked a whole lot better than Fred Thompson)
I had an incredible father whom I believe I was attempting to replicate in a boyfriend/potential husband. They all had the same tall muscular stature and general life values.
So when I see this, I’m not disturbed because I know how fulfilling these Spring/Summer relationships can be.
i’ve split with a partner 10 yrs older than me and am now seeing someone 7 yrs younger. in each case i didn’t think about the age at all. i must admit i am going into this one more cautiously and am weary of the age difference a bit.

to be honest.. the age doesnt really matter to me. infact it’d pretty damn stupid to not date a woman/man you like just because she/he is like 5 or so years older than you. ..but i agree on this: money definitely matter, it’s sad but true.
